About Jamie

Jamie Hopkins Hypnotherapist

I pride myself in setting high standards and always doing something to the best of my ability.

After spending over 20 years in the medical world I felt I needed a slight change in direction. As a medic I worked all over the world, I have always enjoyed helping people. Through various roles within the medical world I have enjoyed coaching, teaching and being a mentor to people. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career was helping people to be the best that they could be.

I conducted my hypnotherapy training with the well renowned CPHT at The Observatory in Plymouth and I can safely say that the course changed my life. Throughout my hypnotherapy training I began to see more and more the power our mind has and how by learning to control our emotions we can help create positive outcomes and move to towards a preferred future. I love being a hypnotherapist and I get a huge amount of satisfaction in helping others to create positive change in their lives.*

I am also a fully qualified First Aid and H&S Instructor and hold a Level 3 qualification in Education and Training.

I hold a current DBS and have completed Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults training.

Although originally from South Wales I now live in the beautiful city of Plymouth. I love to explore the countryside and this helps with my love of photography. I play golf and take part in triathlons to stay fit and one of my proudest moments was completing the gruelling Ironman triathlon.

I am lucky to have the support of my amazing wife and 3 beautiful children.
